Our House system fosters a sense of community and inspires healthy competition among our pupils, staff and parents. Our four houses are named after Pharaonic Gods - Ra, Anubis, Horus, and Thoth - and each house has its own unique identity.

Staff and students from FS1 to Year 12, all belong to a House. Membership of a particular House is passed on to younger siblings making House allegiance at GES Cairo a family affair!

Houses compete against each other in a variety of events, including Sports Days, academic competitions, and charitable fayres.

House Points are awarded to students for their individual and group achievements.

Our House system infiltrates the very essence of all that we do at GES Cairo, creating a sense of camaraderie and belonging throughout our school community, facilitating a vertical connection for students across the age groups and encouraging everyone to work together towards a common goal
