A big shout out to all our GES students and their families who took part in the GES Cairo Winter Gingerbread House Competition! Everyone who submitted their entry has been awarded a special certificate and 10 points for their House. Well done!
We made the 'Thankful Song' our theme tune at GES this month. The lyrics in this song capture so well the lessons we wish our students to learn through their participation in our Keep Egypt Warm campaign.
It was lovely to see our GES students today turning up in their 12 hour run t-shirts, in support of our 'Keep Egypt Warm' drive. All Group A students can attend school this week wearing their t-shirt on their scheduled PE days. On Thursday, for a special exception, they may wear it with jeans! Group B will have the opportunity to show their support by wearing these special t-shirts on PE days starting 22nd November and with jeans on Thursday 26th November.
Wishing our Y11 pupils the best of luck in the current October/November 2020 examination series. It takes a great deal of effort and dedication to be able to juggle the workload of the academic year alongside the stress of assessment. To our pupils: You've got this! 💪
Winnie the Witch tore herself away from her hectic Halloween party preparations to visit Key Stage 1 yesterday with her cat, Wilbur. She was delighted to receive all the wonderful fanmail from GES Cairo pupils today.
