As a part of our growth journey, we believe in giving back to the community and creating a positive impact. GES Cairo students engage in a range of community service and charitable initiatives that are an integral part of our school's ethos.

The annually hosted ‘Pink Day’ wraps up a month-long campaign that engages the whole school in fundraising events, where proceeds go to Breast Cancer Foundation of Egypt (BCFE) and the Baheya Hospital. The ‘12-Hour Run is a great opportunity for students, teachers, parents and the whole of our school community to make unforgettable memories filled with excitement and fun activities. In recent years we have partnered with the ‘Tawasol’ organisation in support of their admirable community education initiatives. Our school community also associates with the Egyptian Food Bank and the Egyptian Clothing Bank to collect perishable food, clothing items and blankets during the annual ‘Keep Egypt Warm’ (KEW) campaign. Throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, we continue our collections for the ‘Souq El Kheir’ campaign to provide our Ancillary and support staff with Ramadan and Eid requirements. Additionally, students and staff host an annual Iftar event to extend our appreciation to the whole school community.
